Children are free to be themselves, growing in an environment of Love - Confidence - Joy - Happiness - Creativity.

We understand that adjusting to a new environment can sometimes be challenging for young children. However, with internationally standardized Montessori facilities, a dedicated teaching team, and a proven Montessori education system, Tiny Flower Montessori is committed to providing children with a safe, joyful, and enriching experience that supports their comprehensive development in both mind and body.

Introduction to Tiny Flower Montessori (TFM)

Tiny Flower Montessori (TFM) – The Tiny Flower Preschool – was founded in 2006, nurturing generations of children in Vietnam with the desire to learn, apply, and develop educational philosophies from around the world.
Through this journey, we have deeply embraced the love and humanistic philosophy of Dr. Maria Montessori and her remarkable Montessori Method of Education. In 2009, we began our study, research, and gradual implementation of the Montessori approach into the development of Tiny Flower Montessori (TFM).

At Tiny Flower Montessori, we believe that: “Every child is a unique world within themselves, carrying limitless potential — all they need is love, respect, and the right guidance.”

Our curriculum harmoniously blends the international Montessori education (AMI) with the Vietnamese early childhood education framework, enabling children to grow as global citizens while remaining deeply connected to their cultural roots.

Educational Philosophy – Respecting Every Step of a Child’s Development

INTERNATIONAL RECOGNITION AND PARTNERSHIPS OF TINY FLOWER MONTESSORI (TFM)

Tiny Flower Montessori (TFM) is honored to be the first school in Vietnam officially approved by the Ministry of Education and Training to implement the International Montessori Education Program. This milestone marks a significant step toward global educational integration while preserving Vietnam’s cultural identity.

The Montessori program at TFM is implemented according to the standards of the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) — the organization founded by Dr. Maria Montessori in 1929 with the mission of preserving, developing, and spreading her lifelong humanistic educational philosophy.

Headquartered in the Netherlands, AMI is officially affiliated with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO) and is recognized worldwide as the leading authority in ensuring the authenticity, accuracy, and sustainability of the Montessori method.

Partnerships and Collaborations

Tiny Flower Montessori (TFM) is proud to be an official partner of Montessori Vietnam Education Center (MVEC), the Montessori Training Center of New England (MTCNE), and the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI).

Through these collaborations, TFM has become an internationally certified training, practice, and observation environment, directly supporting:

  • AMI Montessori management, teacher, and assistant (orientation) training programs.

  • Educational workshops and seminars for parents, teachers, and early childhood education researchers.

  • Observation and practicum programs for students of MVEC under the guidance of AMI international trainers.

An Internationally Recognized Environment in the Heart of Vietnam

Tiny Flower Montessori (TFM) serves as a practical training environment for Montessori implementation. The diploma courses are organized by Montessori Vietnam (MVEC) in collaboration with MTCNE and are certified by the Association Montessori Internationale (AMI).

Here, trainees have the opportunity to directly observe Montessori educators in action — from preparing the classroom environment and observing children to engaging with them gently, respectfully, and consistently with Montessori principles.

Every classroom at Tiny Flower Montessori (TFM) is a “living educational laboratory,” where theory and practice come together seamlessly, and the spirit of international Montessori education is beautifully integrated into the Vietnamese context.

Pride and Commitment

This achievement represents not only TFM’s pride but also its long-term commitment to:

  • Maintaining international standards in teaching and classroom management.

  • Ensuring that teachers and learners have direct access to authentic Montessori knowledge and pracice.

Promoting the values of Vietnamese early childhood education, bridging the humanistic Montessori philosophy with Vietnamese cultural traditions — where children learn through love, respect, and creative freedom.

FACILITIES

Tiny Flower Montessori (TFM) is located on a campus of over 4,000 square meters, offering a warm and child-centered educational environment where Vietnamese culture harmoniously blends with an international spirit.

Each classroom, ranging from 180 to 240 square meters, is meticulously designed and equipped with authentic Montessori materials imported from the Netherlands, alongside innovative learning tools developed by Montessori Vietnam Education (MVEC). These materials allow children to learn through hands-on experience, observation, and exploration, nurturing their independence, focus, and self-discipline — in line with Dr. Maria Montessori’s philosophy.

The learning spaces at Tiny Flower Montessori are surrounded by natural light, greenery, and small gardens, creating an environment where children can connect with nature — a core element of the Montessori philosophy.

Within the school grounds, bamboo groves and traditional Vietnamese cultural corners provide opportunities for children to explore local heritage through items such as drums, paper fans, conical hats, Đông Hồ folk paintings, and star-shaped lanterns, as well as traditional activities like making bánh chưng, performing lion dances, and painting folk art.

These experiences not only nurture a love for their homeland and a sense of cultural pride, but also help children gain a deep understanding of Vietnamese traditions within an international learning community, where children from Vietnam, Europe, the United States, Japan, Korea, China, and beyond learn, share, and grow together in an atmosphere of respect, openness, and global collaboration.

Children are encouraged to express themselves in both Vietnamese and English, to understand and appreciate cultural diversity, and to become young global citizens — confident, compassionate, and yet deeply rooted in the Vietnamese spirit.

With the collaboration of both Vietnamese and international teachers, Tiny Flower Montessori (TFM) offers not only a high-quality educational environment but also a nurturing space for the Vietnamese soul — where culture, love, and creativity intertwine in every child’s learning experience.

Tiny Flower Montessori (TFM) — where every child is a tiny flower carrying the Vietnamese spirit, blooming brightly in the wide world.

Core Value

“Children are free to be themselves — growing up in an environment of Love, Confidence, Joy, Happiness, and Creativity.”

TEACHING STAFF

The greatest strength and distinction of Tiny Flower Montessori (TFM) lies in its team of teachers, who are professionally trained and internationally certified under AMI (Association Montessori Internationale) standards.

They possess strong expertise in Vietnamese early childhood education, combined with a deep understanding of local culture and the emotional world of Vietnamese children.

Gentle, dedicated, and deeply observant, TFM teachers guide each child to grow at their own natural pace — supporting, not directing; observing, not imposing.

At Tiny Flower Montessori, teachers do more than teach — they inspire, nurture, and accompany. They are the “silent companions” who walk beside every child, helping them gain confidence, independence, and the courage to shine in their own way.

MONTESSORI MATERIALS – THE SOUL OF THE CLASSROOM

At Tiny Flower Montessori (TFM), learning materials are more than just educational tools — they are “silent teachers” that guide children to learn and think independently. The AMI-standard Montessori materials (Association Montessori Internationale) are carefully imported and arranged according to international specifications, ensuring precision in design and integrity in educational purpose.

Alongside these authentic materials, TFM proudly develops its own collection of Vietnamese Cultural Materials, creatively designed to reflect the essence of Vietnamese heritage. These materials are made from familiar traditional crafts and natural materials such as bamboo, rattan, wood, silk, brocade, terracotta, ceramics, seagrass, palm leaves, coconut shells, and sea shells, and incorporate objects from daily village life — baskets, mats, jars, conical hats, lanterns, drums, bamboo flutes, and carrying poles.

Complementing these are models and activities inspired by Vietnamese culture, including traditional foods (bánh chưng, bánh tét, cốm, chè, phở), national costumes like the áo dài, cultural festivals such as Tết (Lunar New Year), Mid-Autumn Festival, and craft village celebrations, as well as folk games like tug of war, ô ăn quan, bamboo dance, and dragon snake game.

Through these materials and hands-on experiences, children not only develop their senses, movement, cognition, and language skills, but also nurture a love for their homeland, pride in their cultural roots, and a deep sense of belonging. The classroom becomes a living space where Montessori philosophy and Vietnamese identity are beautifully intertwined — a place where children learn in harmony with culture, nature, and heart.

CURRICULUM – INTEGRATION AND HUMANITY

Tiny Flower Montessori (TFM) offers a naturally bilingual Montessori environment, where Vietnamese and English are seamlessly integrated into every daily activity. Learning happens through real-life experiences, purposeful exploration, and hands-on practice, helping children develop independence, confidence, and a lifelong love of learning.

With over a decade of research and experience in implementing Montessori education in Vietnam, Tiny Flower Montessori (TFM) has developed a unique integrated curriculum that combines international Montessori standards with the Vietnamese National Early Childhood Education Program.

At TFM, the Montessori model is not merely applied — it is studied, adapted, and evolved to suit the culture, psychology, and natural development rhythm of Vietnamese children.

As a result, every lesson at Tiny Flower Montessori preserves the freedom and independence central to Montessori philosophy while nurturing Vietnamese values such as respect, kindness, family connection, and community spirit.

More than a place of learning, Tiny Flower Montessori (TFM) is a place of living and belonging, where children grow in love and respect, and become global citizens with Vietnamese hearts — confident to step into the world with pride in their roots and identity.
