TINY FLOWER MONTESSORI SCHOOL LEADERSHIP TEAM OBSERVES AND EVALUATES THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE TEACHING PLAN IN THE 3–6-YEAR-OLD CLASSROOM

At Tiny Flower Montessori, every learning activity is designed to help children develop their thinking skills, cultivate independence, and gradually take ownership of their own learning journey. During professional classroom observations in the 3–6-year-old classroom, the School Leadership Team directly monitors how teachers implement their teaching plans while observing how children approach lessons, select learning materials, practice, and apply the knowledge and skills they have been introduced to.

Observing the Learning Process – Assessing Children's Progress

Between the ages of 3 and 6, children gradually develop concentration, logical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. Therefore, assessment is not based solely on whether a child completes a lesson. It also focuses on how children perform each step, their level of understanding, their ability to self-correct, and their initiative throughout the learning process.

Through direct classroom observations, the School Leadership Team can compare each lesson's objectives with children's learning abilities and responses. This helps determine whether the teaching content is appropriate and identify the skills children need to continue developing.

Reviewing Teaching Plans – Enhancing Teaching Effectiveness

Monitoring children's learning processes also provides the School Leadership Team with an opportunity to evaluate the consistency between teaching plans and actual classroom practices. Based on these observations, the school recognizes strengths, identifies areas for improvement, and works alongside teachers to develop appropriate next steps in each child's learning journey.
